Founded in 1971, Human Synergistics has earned an international reputation for innovation in the field of organizational development.

We're proud to help enterprises around the world to support their people and improve their performance through a focus on culture change, leadership development, and team building.

Human Synergistics International was established by clinical psychologist J. Clayton Lafferty, Ph.D. and is directed by CEO and organizational culture expert Robert A. Cooke, Ph.D.. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, we work with organizations of all types and sizes from our offices in 19 countries around the globe.

Human Synergistics Canada opened in 1982 to better serve the Canadian market. Allan Stewart, MBA became the President in 1996. He had been a client since 1981, first with Sears Canada, then as an independent consultant. "He liked the products so much, he joined the company." We have been located in St. Marys, Ontario since 2001.

Our expertise

Human Synergistics specializes in measuring and developing organizational cultures, leadership strategies, team synergies, and individual behavioral styles. We do this through more than 35 products and translations, including the world-renowned Organizational Culture Inventory®, Life Styles Inventory, and Desert Survival Situation.
