Building Effective Teams

Building Effective Teams provides you with the means to use experiential activities and quantitative data to assist groups and teams in becoming more effective. You will learn how world-renowned HSI Simulations, including the original Desert Survival Situation™, can help your teams improve their problem-solving skills and decision-making effectiveness while strengthening cooperation and communication. In addition, you will experience the Group Styles Inventory™ (GSI) and learn how to combine it with any HSI simulation to visually demonstrate to participants how constructive teams reach superior solutions.

Upon completion of Building Effective Teams, you will be able to:

• Facilitate and debrief GSI and simulation sessions
• Uncover a team’s skill development needs and select the appropriate simulation
• Quantify team effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
• Understand how to track a team’s progress
• Build a business case for using HSI team development tools to drive team and organizational effectiveness
